We had two boys teams competing a the SGIS Category E tournament on Thursday.

Team 2 with all year 5 students had a difficult start losing their first game to La Chat 1, but bounced back quickly and went on to beat some big schools such as LGB 1 and CDL 1 and finished a very respectable 9th of 14. Beating IIL 2 in their final match. This was a great day for the year 5 students to compete against some older boys and showed great resilience and team work throughout the competition.

Team 1 made up of all year 6 students started strong winning their first 3 group games. And finishing 2nd in their group to progress to the Semi finals. After losing their semi final to IIL 1 who went onto win the competition. They showed a great attitude to finish the tournament strong. After coming back from 1:0 down to La chat 1 and scoring a well worked team goal they conceded late on to finish 4th. Just missing out on the medals this time !
