The U18 boys' basketball team took to the competitive court for the first time at GES this term. Weekly training on a Friday after school has helped support their development and paved the way for the boys to enter the SGIS Cat A tournament in Villars.

Winning their first match, they played hard and fought like champions on their way to qualifying for the semi-finals! After a tight loss in the semi final the boys played for the 3rd place medal, narrowly missing out after some tight calls.

Finishing in 4th place, just outside the medals, is not a bad result for the first ever U18 basketball tournament at GES. Let's hope this paves the way for more opportunities and success on the court for GES!
